High Ground Hunting Club is located near Smith Mills, KY on HWY 268 which is only minutes from Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN. Transportation by air is available through commercial and private carriers into Evansville, IN. The Henderson airport is accessible by private aircraft only. Much of the property borders the Sloughs State Fish and Wildlife refuge and offers fantastic hunting opportunities to our members. All properties are readily accessible by truck or all-terrain vehicles. With the help of our resident wildlife teams, we manage our tillable ground for optimum wildlife attraction and create unbelievable hunting opportunities in our 2000+ acres of hills, woods and wetlands. Take a look at our four premier properties: Rock Springs, The Sanctuary, Kentucky Whitetail and Tin City. Through our genetics and habitat management, we are consistently harvesting Pope and Young class bucks. We also have several buck harvests in the 160+ class. We strictly observe a minimum harvest of 125 inches Pope and Young to ensure a better quality hunting experience for all of our guests. Our habitat management program allows us to offer food for our deer to help hold them on our properties. We maintain 100's of acres of food plots across our property which offer wildlife easy access to quality food. During our deer hunts, only 6 slotted hunters will be allowed to hunt our river bottom location. This ensures less pressure and great flexibility for your hunt.
