Waterfowl Hunting Equipment
High Ground Hunting Club has a full line of support equipment to make our property efficient for hunters and attractive for wildlife. In addition to our farming equipment, we have a multitude of vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, and Go-Devil boats to transport our members to their hunting locale. We also have numerous wells and water-control structures to control flooding along with 9000 decoys to attract waterfowl to our blinds.
Waterfowl
Any gauge shotgun is legal in Kentucky but non-toxic shot is a requirement. "T" size shot is the maximum allowed shot size. A valid state hunting license, state waterfowl permit, and federal duck stamp are also required. These are available by credit card on our links page to the KY Division of Fish and Wildlife. Licenses and permits are NOT available at our clubs.
Bring with you:
- Warm clothing (our pits and blinds are heated)
- Dry shoes or boots
- Shotgun (12 or 20 gauge recommended)
- Non-toxic shotshells (T size or smaller)
- Camera
- Game carrier
- All licenses and permits before arrival.
